❓ Frequently Asked Questions
What does "Confirm on the Ground" do?+
You provide GPS-tagged photo/video evidence. The system verifies EXIF metadata, scores quality, boosts Confidence, recalculates EDI, and moves the alert closer to escalation.
How is Confidence Score calculated?+
Starts from satellite probability (45–70). Ground evidence adds up to +40. Reputation multiplier. Each verifier adds +10 (max +30). Disputes subtract 15–40.
Confidence vs EDI?+
Confidence = "Is it real?" EDI = "Is evidence strong enough to act on?" Confidence gates EDI: below 45, EDI is forced to zero.
Does the platform report to authorities?+
Yes — at EDI ≥ 80. Oqio Terra packages evidence and submits. Identity pseudonymized.
Can I dispute an alert?+
"Mark as False Positive" with reason and photo/video. Confidence downgraded, marked Disputed, logged for ML retraining.
